Cybersecurity Fundamentals

CyberShield Cyber Security Education Association

Cybersecurity Fundamentals Cyber Shield's success with Cybersecurity Summer Camp, now adapted to the formal education environment. The project aims to introduce children from several schools and high schools in Covasna, Slobozia and Bucharest to the essential concepts of cyber security directly in their daily learning space - the classroom.

This initiative aims to reach over 800 students in the month of October, ensuring that every child is equipped with the knowledge to navigate the digital world safely. The structure of the program will be adapted to fit classic educational settings, focusing on interactive sessions and practical examples that illustrate cybersecurity risks and solutions.

Teaching activities will include: demonstrations on the importance of creating strong passwords, simulations to detect phishing attempts, and interdisciplinary sessions where technology and standard programming content intersect to provide relevant lessons.

Since we interact directly in the school environment, the "Cybersecurity Fundamentals" program will work in close collaboration with teaching staff. This will help us integrate cybersecurity information in a way that complements and reinforces the existing curriculum, ensuring that our messages are not only engaging, but pedagogically relevant.

Upon completion of the project, we aim to collect feedback not only from students but also from their teachers. This will allow us to measure the impact of the initiative and prepare for future collaborations.

Through "Cybersecurity Fundamentals", we aim to build a solid foundation for a generation of digital security conscious young people and strengthen the links of the educational community with the field of technology and cyber security.
