Cybersecurity Summer Bootcamp
" Cybersecurity Summer Bootcamp " was a unique experience that combined learning with fun, giving kids an opportunity to delve into the world of cybersecurity in a fun and interactive environment.
In this bootcamp, we were able to sensitize the children about cyber threats, train them in good cyber security practices and develop basic programming skills.

Before the start of the bootcamp, we set the goals of the bootcamp. Each activity has been designed to teach children how to create strong passwords, how to spot phishing emails and how to surf the internet safely. The program included a variety of activities, from hands-on workshops to games and competitions that challenged the children to apply what they had learned.
To make sure everything went according to plan, we had a team of qualified instructors with a solid knowledge of cyber security, but also experience working with children. They were able to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy for children to understand.
The location we chose was safe and child-friendly, with enough computers or laptops for all participants.
Once all the details were worked out, we focused on promoting the bootcamp. We used social media, newsletters and partnered with local schools to get the word out about our event.
After completing the bootcamp, we solicited feedback from participants and parents to understand what worked and what can be improved for future editions.
Organizing this bootcamp has significantly contributed to raising awareness of cyber security among children and has helped us form a generation that is better prepared to surf safely online.
